			Nanoelectronic Sketchpad A method for controlling the metal-insulator transition of LaAlO3/SrTiO3 heterostructures has been developed. Conducting lines as small as ~ 3nm and isolated islands smaller than ~2 nm in diameter can be created and erased using a conducting AFM probe at room temperature.
