WRITING AND READING OF FERROELECTRIC DOMAINS
Ferroelectric domains can be created and later imaged using piezoresponse microscopy. A conducting Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) probe can cause ferroelectric domains to locally reorient. Later, the same probe can be used to measure tiny vibrations coming from the film as it is driven with a smaller electric field.
